Vermicelli Noodle Soup, Herb Roasted Chicken (4-Pack) – Wild Zora
Free Shipping $49+ (Continental US)

Our Vermicelli glass noodles, made from sweet potatoes, are convenient to make in their own included cup -- just add hot water. They are low glycemic index and are compatible with Paleo and other moderated-carbohydrate diets, but mostly you won't believe how delicious they are.

Most ramen soups are made from wheat noodles or rice noodles, but we wanted noodles that would rehydrate without being cooked on a stove and are still 100% gluten- and grain-free. We also wanted to create something very new, yet very traditional.

Chicken Noodle Soup:
This recipe uses ingredients used to make traditional chicken soup broth: celery, carrots, parsley, garlic, onion, and free-range chicken. We added a bit of nutritional yeast to increase the savory "umami" flavor, plus some turmeric for anti-inflammatory qualities. This soup will remind you of Mom’s or Grandmom’s homemade chicken noodle soup. It tastes fantastic for everyone but is also 100% compatible with the elimination phase of an AIP diet.

Ingredients:
Non-GMO Sweet Potato Vermicelli Noodles, Free-Range Chicken, Carrots, Nutritional Yeast, Sea Salt, Organic Garlic, Organic Onion, Celery, Organic Parsley, Organic Rosemary, and Tumeric.

Why Are Our Meat Vermicelli Noodle Soups Better?

1. Sweet Potato Vermicelli Glass Noodles

We created these tasty sweet potato glass noodles based on a recipe for traditional Korean starch noodles called Japchae. They are unbelievably delicious for such a nutritious food, you’d never guess they are low-glycemic index, grain-free, gluten-free, and compatible with Paleo and low-carb diets. These noodles were created to maintain quality and taste while being rehydrated using only hot water; no pots or pans are necessary!

2. Packed With Protein

Our meat recipe Vermicelli Noodle Soups have about double the amount of protein compared to typical instant soups or ramen. By including real meat we are able to get 6-8 grams of protein into the soups, which helps keep you feeling full and satisfied.

3. 100% Grass Fed Beef and Free Range Chicken

Zora, the founder of Wild Zora, spent her childhood summers working on both her grandparents’ farms. Through this, she was instilled with a deep respect and appreciation for livestock animals that would provide sustenance for her and her family. We only used the highest quality grass-fed and free-range meats in Wild Zora products, and we will even visit the farms in person to ensure they meet our standards.

4. No Processed Ingredients, Preservatives, or Artificial Flavors

So many convenience foods and “instant” meals, especially soups, have ingredient lists filled with preservatives and artificial flavorings you’ve never even heard of. Half of the time you can’t even decipher exactly what you’re putting in your body without being a food expert or scientist. At Wild Zora, we only put food in our food. The ingredients you’ll find on our soup lists are always all-natural and intentionally chosen.

The Benefits of Wild Zora Chicken

Raised Without Antibiotics

Since the USDA standard for free-range does not prohibit the use of antibiotics, not all chicken labeled free-range is antibiotic-free. The chicken used in Wild Zora products is always 100% antibiotic-free and is held to the highest quality standard.

Humane Living Conditions For Chickens

The farms we source our chicken from at Wild Zora are rated Step 3 by the Global Animal Partnership; this means providing chickens with actual outdoor access with natural light and shade is required. The chickens also receive extra enrichment which can include things like branches and hay bales for them to explore, forage, and burrow in.

A Broader Diet Means More Nutrients

Having outdoor access means the chickens have the opportunity to feed on a variety of insects and plants. This leads to free-range chickens being much more nutritionally dense than conventionally raised chickens. Studies have shown that free-range chicken has less cholesterol and saturated fat and more vitamin A, vitamin E, iron, omega-3s, and collagen than chickens who do not have outdoor access.

Higher Protein Content

In addition to containing more nutrients, free-range chicken has actually been shown to have a higher protein content than conventionally raised chicken! Protein is an essential part of our diet, and many people don’t get enough protein on a daily basis. Swapping regular chicken for free-range chicken products can help increase your protein intake without adding supplements or extra meals.

Tastier Than Conventionally Raised Chicken

There’s no denying it, free-range chicken just tastes better than other chicken. Researchers believe this is due to both their diverse diets and the higher development of muscles from exercise compared to conventional chicken. Free-range chicken is found by many to have a better flavor, texture, and more tenderness than other chicken.

Healthy Meals Made With Real People In Mind
